On April 5, 2024, NASEO submitted comments to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) in response to the Request for Information (RFI) regarding the J3400 Connector and Potential Options for Performance-Based Charging Standards. NASEO encouraged the FHWA not to require existing electric vehicle chargers to be retrofitted with J3400 connectors. The NASEO comments can be viewed here.
